we're on the edge of our seats

we noticed the first crack yesterday,
and although we can hear peeps from within,
progress seems a bit slow.

please send encouraging thoughts,
as hatching is very hard work.

don't give up little duck!

    gretchen, i have read that with hatching, to help is to hurt. the baby slowly detaches from the egg. if you break away the wrong piece, it can cause bleeding. i think there are cases where you can help, but i don't like to interfere.
