snowing outside, blooming inside


i am enjoying my favorite weather today.

 oblivious to the snow showers,
my kitchen window is blooming and sprouting.

it's fine if they feel like blooming,
but i am in no hurry for spring.

    It's finally warming up a bit here - 43 deg. today. I'd love to be up there snowshoeing in the park! Just beautiful and peaceful.

    Like Kel said, we are having 40's and 50s this week. But, we did have a White Christmas! Your amaryllis is beautiful!
