remember my found fabric brooch?

i helped ned's class make them for mother's day.

{can you say, 23 found fabric brooches?}

his teacher had a big box of buttons,

and she let each of them choose

three buttons to add to their brooch.

the kids loved making these.

mrs. morgan also had a stash

of little chinese take-out cartons

that they decorated as gift boxes.

i think they turned out pretty great.

here's a set of mugs that i almost

bought for my mom & dad

one for mother's day, one for father's day.

yee-haw.

then, i decided it was a better choice

to just send them the picture.
