this week has been

busy.

like everyone else,

we are adjusting to a new school year.

early bedtimes, early alarms, & homework.

unlike everyone else,

we are trying to convince a certain duck

that she wants & needs her freedom.

it's slow-going.

rosa hasn't yet realized that she is a duck.

and freezing them for future soups.
