ned's party was small.

just three of his best friends,

ellie, hannah, & ty.

we went to the idaho aquarium.

that's marian with hannah & ellie.

it was our first time seeing the new sea turtle.

an injury left him unable to live in the wild.

after the aquarium, we went to flying pie.

{because we don't live in a hut and neither should our pizza}

my favorite part was when ned gave each of them

a giant hug after opening their presents

we had brownie sundaes with candles

so everyone could make a wish.

happy birthday, ned!

this is sort of a

even the colt mascot from marian's school

was doing this dance at the last basketball game.

thanksgiving {a new tradition}

this year,

i found my thanksgiving menu

at the gardener's cottage.

white bistro chili enchiladas {recipe}

i added jack cheese & a little sour cream on top.

spicy potato stacks {recipe}

we still had rosemary in the garden.

green salad with fruit & nuts {recipe}

i added pomegranate. 

thank you, janet!

we loved everything.

those enchiladas are our new favorite.

i might be making them more often

than just holidays.

we visited the beautiful sun valley lodge
