soccer

ned started soccer today

i loved that he was wearing emily's old
soccer cleats, shin guards, & socks

i am so glad we found kickin kids soccer.
i was ready to give up on team sports
because of the burn-out
from weeknight practices.
kickin kids is different.
Kickin' Kids Sports was started when we were personally tired of giving a lot of time and money for our own kids' initial experiences with team sports.  We wanted to offer something less complicated and more catered toward kids and families.

soccer happens on saturdays
from 10:30 - 11:30.
the kids practice for 15 minutes,
then the game is 45 minutes.
and the season only costs $30
{that low cost includes a shirt, team photo, & a trophy}.
i am telling you,
it is kids team sports nirvana.
why can't everything be like this?

I love that idea! It's perfect for this age when they are just trying to have fun and it is not so competitive yet.
I see so many parents (and kids even more so) burning out on sports and activities.

When Graham did lacrosse, practice was three times a week for 1 1/2 hours at each practice. Fall practice was less intense than spring, but still lots of commitment at such a young age!
