marian spent last saturday at a friend's house.
while she was there, she called me to gush,
"they eat like WE do!"
which is very rare in these parts.
her friend's mother made them this milkshake,
and marian, a girl after my own heart,
made sure to get the recipe.
yes, it's vegan, but it is so delicious
that everyone will love it.

this recipe is for 1 serving.
i tripled the recipe and my blender was full.
vegan milkshake
8 oz almond milk
1 banana
1 Tbs peanut butter
1 Tbs agave
1 Tbs cacao nibs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup ice
add all ingredients to blender & blend well.
notes:
using frozen bananas will make a thicker shake.
by all means, substitute almond butter
for the peanut butter if you prefer.
the cacao nibs are little crunchy bits
that seem like frozen chocolate chips.
