feel better

there's nothing worse than having
to run to the store when someone feels sick.

there are a few items
that i like to have on hand, just in case.

i was re-supplying my "feel-better" basket
and thought i'd share my favorites.
the very best saltines.  toasty-er, buttery-er.
i might eat them with grape jam, just because.
and don't panic, they're organic.

got me through pregnancy, delivery, and nursing - three times.
i bought it by the case, back then.
p.s. don't panic...
p.p.s. gatorade is gross.

 a more wholesome ginger ale.
come to think of it, keep some fresh ginger on hand, as well.

this can help keep you from getting sick in the first place.
we drink this all the time, and especially at the first sign of a cold.
lots of flavors to choose from -
we like raspberry & cranberry pomegranate.

i have been drinking this for more than 20 years.
i remember sending emily to school with a thermos of it.
so soothing on a sore throat.

this is not a sponsored post.
i bought these items with my own dough.
they are my tried-and-true favorites.

be well, dear reader.

Gonna put that tea on my list. We do tea, Emergen-C and and Umcka when we get sick and it works really well! The trick with Umcka is you have to take it at the onset of a cold. Otherwise, it doesn't work too well. I always have it on hand!

I'm little bit sick and I want to be with you! :)
