here is our
very favorite salad dressing:

very favorite salad dressing:
it also makes a great marinade
and dressing for pasta salad.
the base:
2 cups canola oil
1 cup balsamic vinegar
1 cup soy sauce (i use low-sodium tamari)
add, more or less, to taste:
minced garlic (about 4 cloves)
dry mustard (about 1 Tablespoon)
salt & pepper (about 1/2 teaspoon each)

this recipe was given to me YEARS ago.
it is from our friend dean.
he is an organic farmer.
he is also missy's husband.
i have often imagined him bottling & selling this dressing.
yes, it's that good.

I will try this dressing fo sho! I always make my own using all of these ingredients except I never tried the soy sauce . Yum!
