tracy porter's rustic peach galette
baking this beautiful french pastry.
for galette #1
i used whole wheat pastry flour.
although it disappeared in a skinny minute,
it was nowhere NEAR
the flaky perfection of galette #2.
i will henceforth use and recommend
unbleached all-purpose flour for this recipe.
{i think my next galette will be raspberry...}

We must both have the baking bug...I just made 2 sweet potato pound cakes. yum! Something about Fall...love the smells of baking with cinnamon and nutmeg.
