today was ned's first show & tell day.
here's what he brought...
his adorable baby triceratops.
he growls and coos
and moves his head around
when you pet him.
one of his growls almost sounds like "mama."
and this should maybe be called
finders keepers...
i have been eyeing this giant tree branch
ever since it blew down
in a windstorm a few weeks ago.
we walk past it every day.
it is as big as a whole tree.
marian dragged it home for me yesterday,
more than a mile.
i didn't even ask her to,
in fact, i asked her not to,
but she knew i loved it & would put it to good use.
oh, the neighbors must have such fun
peeking at us through their blinds
as we
talk to ducks,
collect acorns,
and drag home mammoth branches.

And they see the fairy dust shimmering everywhere Catie. Don't forget the fairy dust! Truly, you create such magic at your home!
Well first I must say Ned is adorable and I hope he loves school. Next is beautiful Marian...how kind of her to get this wonderful limb/tree for you! I cannot wait to see what you do with it. I must add..there is no where I'd rather be than mixed in your magic! You are awesome Catie Grace!
If the neighbors are talking it's because you are so creative and they...not so much!!! xoxoxo Gretchen
I love it!! Show us pictures of where you put it! xo Sweet Marian is good to her mama.
